Okay, so Meagan is just an amazing person and I think she should TOTALLY be a model! This is my idea of a perfect evening! Three girls in the truck, 3 random chairs in the back, a closet full of clothes, and just driving around laughing and chatting until we saw something awesome (like a purple wall) where we would jump out of the car and magic would happen! :) I can't describe how beyond excited I am about these portraits, I'm just gonna shut up and show you!

OK.....I am always a lil nervous about doing maternity portraits of ladies I've never met before. If you have never been pregnant (or your a man :)) it might be hard to understand, but its very hard to feel um...sexy....if sexy is even possible being 9 months pregnant! :) Let alone your trying to pose with you belly bump is sorta awkward. Well...none of the above was a problem for this girl, meet Christi Cox. She is absolutely beautiful and totally glowing! I met Christi threw another friend and she was so wonderful to come over after work late one night and let me photograph her. She is actually due NEXT WEEK and still looks absolutely amazing. I'm so jealous!! Anyways, I can't wait to meet Mr. Kipton Parker and I'm sure you will see some sneak peaks of the newborn session pretty soon! Here are some amazing portraits I did of Christi on Wednesday. Thanks again girl, you were amazing.

Ok...this little girl is growing up so fast. I met the great couple of Ericha & Carl when they came into the studio for newborn portraits. Yes, I said it NEWBORN portraits!! Now look at Alexis, whom I like to call Sweet Alexis! I can't believe she is almost one! :( Time just flies so quickly! She was by far the happiest baby at Wye Mountain on Tuesday. All the on lookers couldn't help but laugh at Carl doing jumping jacks and running around like a monkey trying to get Alexis to smile. She was just so taken by all the people and the flowers she didn't want to pay attention to the lady with a camera! But even though she wouldn't really look at me, we got some AMAZING portraits!! Here is a sneak peak!

Daffodil Festival 2010 Benton, Arkansas

Last week I had a chance to get out of the house and take the girls to the Daffodil Festival located at Wye Mountain. This is something my family and I have done since we moved here...going on 3 wonderful years!!! It's really amazing to compare the portraits I did of my first child Riley, then the next year, of her and Olivia, and now this year. Here are some of my FAVORITE portraits I took of my girls this year!! *well the last one is my favorite*

PhotoBrooke Sports!!!

I don't know if all of my clients know that I kinda have two businesses. I have my PhotoBrooke Creations which is all my portraits photography, but then I have a PhotoBrooke Sports business. This business is wrapped around the Benton & Bryant softball and baseball sports. I take the action shots at the tournaments, we even have a tent set up on-site where we print 5x7's right on the spot for you. We also do custom 11x14 collages, magazine covers, and print additional sizes at home. I can even make custom collages out of your own pictures, just tell me what you want and give me the pictures and I'll do the rest. Everything is very affordable!! Here are some collages from this past weekend at the Bryant PreSeason Softball Classic on March 20, 2010.

Maternity Mama!!

This is beautiful Melissa. Her unknown little bump is due in early May. I think it is awesome to meet another fellow mama that didn't find out what they were having while pregnant. *And I would recommend doing this to anyone!!* Melissa came over on Sunday afternoon to model for me so I could get some portraits for an office space. This was not an ordinary session, I was totally just playing around and experimenting with Melissa and she was such a great model just enduring shot after shot of what she probably thought was craziness. Thanks again Melissa for being such a great model for me and I really hope you love your images as much as I do!

Harper 3 mths

Harper, just say that name...Harper. Isn't that just the most adorable little girls name ever? I wish I had thought of it before naming my girls! Its so unique and I seriously doubt there will be another Harper in her class! Anyways, this little girls is adorable. She is all smiles for her mommie and just talked and talked! She loved just being in her diaper, and like most girls her age, didn't like to put on any pretty dress! Here are some of Harper's 3 mth portraits we took over in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

My little girl Olivia!

Here are some images I took of my little precious baby girl Olivia. Here is a little bit of a back story on why I decided to do a session of Olivia with a lot of bread. On my wall right now I have some canvas portraits of big sister Riley in a HUGE stew pot, playing with real noodles, and veggies (lettuce, carrots, onions..etc) all around her. Okay, now fast forward to Olivia's portraits. I wanted something for my other wall with her and didn't want to do the same thing. Well if you know Livy, you know she LOVES her bread! Seriously...so...insert bread portraits!

TWINS

I was able to visit with a good friend from High School last week whom I played softball with all threw high school. To sit and think about how far we both have come is exciting and scary! Exciting to see her beautiful twin girls but scary that the time is just FLYING BYE!! OMG these beautiful twins were just great! From Braelyn trying to dump Bailey out of the chair, to their little growls was just so stinking cute!!! Here are some of my favorite images! Enjoy

Meagan..aka: my babysitter & awsome model!!

Recently my babysitter agreed to model for me out of the goodness of her heart! :-) I was wanting a junior/senior model to just play around with in the studio with some of the new things I learned at my latest photography conference. I personally think, and of course I may be bias, but they turned out AMAZING!!! Thanks so much Meagan, and looking forward to our outside shoot coming up Spring Break!

This saddens me very much!

I found this on a fellow photographers blog and I had to share. *Hope it doesn't rub anyone the wrong way* I have to very much agree with how the verdict came out and I wish that those "photographers" will realize they can be taken to court over not doing a good job. If your printing portraits at a Wal-Mart, CVS, Target, or anything like that, then don't call yourself a photographer please. You like taking photos and photography is a hobby or a passion! Having a camera doesn't entitle you to start charging people and calling yourself a photographer. This truly saddens me and this is the reason our/my industry is hurting! :-(

Daffodil Festival 2010

Daffodil Festival is here! I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to do a spring special this year. This place is an absolutely beautiful place to go have portraits taken or take the family for an outing and pick some very pretty flowers. The drive up to Wye Mountain is so pretty and relaxing I would encourage anyone to really check the festival out.
