Awesome Sydney ~ Senior Portrait Session 2010

Today I finally met Sydney and her mother Jennifer. I never thought we were going to get to do her senior session because of the rain, but thankfully Sunday turned out to be beautiful-and so did Sydney. I had such a great time hanging out with Sydney, finding out about Volleyball and where she is wanting to go to college for Nursing. Sydney was pretty vague on what she wanted and was for sure nervous being in front of the camera...but if I do say so myself...she looked AMAZING! Here are a couple sneak peaks of our time together! Baylee ~ Senior 2011

Baylee's session has turned out one of my best so far! While driving around early Saturday I ran across these amazing hay bails on the side of the road, I couldn't wait until the session later that evening to try them out! Baylee is a Senior at Bryant High School. She is absolutely beautiful, but I don't have to tell you that, just look at the portraits! Good luck Baylee!

Meet Riley and Olivia --- these are my beautiful & amazing daughters. Any professional photography can probably relate to this: but its so very hard for a photographer to get great portraits of your own kids! And I totally get it, they have to be our gunie pigs so often they end up hating the camera! Miss Riley is soo girly "mommie, I need lips, lips mommie lips" Which here she means she wants lipstick "clear gloss" on her lips! And somewhere down the line Olivia decided she needed her toes painted...hence the bawling picture. Now, I have NO IDEA how she got that into her head considering we had nothing out to do our nails! Anyways, these are my crazy girls and their personality portraits. I think they turned out awesome..but I could be bias! :)

Kipton ~ Newborn Session Benton, Photographer

Mr. Kipton Cox, what can I say about this little cutie! When Christi arrived with Kipton he was WIDE awake, and 3 hrs into the session he was STILL WIDE AWAKE!! lol Bless Christi's heart, he just wanted to be held the whole time and be next to his mama! Never the less, we got some pictures of him from our first session. We will be doing another session in hopes that he will sleep! Wish us luck!

Okay, so Meagan is just an amazing person and I think she should TOTALLY be a model! This is my idea of a perfect evening! Three girls in the truck, 3 random chairs in the back, a closet full of clothes, and just driving around laughing and chatting until we saw something awesome (like a purple wall) where we would jump out of the car and magic would happen! :) I can't describe how beyond excited I am about these portraits, I'm just gonna shut up and show you!

OK.....I am always a lil nervous about doing maternity portraits of ladies I've never met before. If you have never been pregnant (or your a man :)) it might be hard to understand, but its very hard to feel um...sexy....if sexy is even possible being 9 months pregnant! :) Let alone your trying to pose with you belly bump is sorta awkward. Well...none of the above was a problem for this girl, meet Christi Cox. She is absolutely beautiful and totally glowing! I met Christi threw another friend and she was so wonderful to come over after work late one night and let me photograph her. She is actually due NEXT WEEK and still looks absolutely amazing. I'm so jealous!! Anyways, I can't wait to meet Mr. Kipton Parker and I'm sure you will see some sneak peaks of the newborn session pretty soon! Ok...this little girl is growing up so fast. I met the great couple of Ericha & Carl when they came into the studio for newborn portraits. Yes, I said it NEWBORN portraits!! Now look at Alexis, whom I like to call Sweet Alexis! I can't believe she is almost one! :( Time just flies so quickly! She was by far the happiest baby at Wye Mountain on Tuesday. All the on lookers couldn't help but laugh at Carl doing jumping jacks and running around like a monkey trying to get Alexis to smile. She was just so taken by all the people and the flowers she didn't want to pay attention to the lady with a camera! But even though she wouldn't really look at me, we got some AMAZING portraits!! Here is a sneak peak!

Last week I had a chance to get out of the house and take the girls to the Daffodil Festival located at Wye Mountain. This is something my family and I have done since we moved here...going on 3 wonderful years!!! It's really amazing to compare the portraits I did of my first child Riley, then the next year, of her and Olivia, and now this year. Maternity Mama!!

This is beautiful Melissa. Her unknown little bump is due in early May. I think it is awesome to meet another fellow mama that didn't find out what they were having while pregnant. *And I would recommend doing this to anyone!!* Melissa came over on Sunday afternoon to model for me so I could get some portraits for an office space. This was not an ordinary session, I was totally just playing around and experimenting with Melissa and she was such a great model just enduring shot after shot of what she probably thought was craziness. Thanks again Melissa for being such a great model for me and I really hope you love your images as much as I do!

My little girl Olivia!

Here are some images I took of my little precious baby girl Olivia. Here is a little bit of a back story on why I decided to do a session of Olivia with a lot of bread. On my wall right now I have some canvas portraits of big sister Riley in a HUGE stew pot, playing with real noodles, and veggies (lettuce, carrots, onions..etc) all around her. Okay, now fast forward to Olivia's portraits. I wanted something for my other wall with her and didn't want to do the same thing. Well if you know Livy, you know she LOVES her bread! Seriously...so...insert bread portraits!

TWINS

I was able to visit with a good friend from High School last week whom I played softball with all threw high school. To sit and think about how far we both have come is exciting and scary! Exciting to see her beautiful twin girls but scary that the time is just FLYING BYE!! OMG these beautiful twins were just great! From Braelyn trying to dump Bailey out of the chair, to their little growls was just so stinking cute!!! Here are some of my favorite images! Enjoy

Meagan..aka: my babysitter & awsome model!!

Recently my babysitter agreed to model for me out of the goodness of her heart! :-) I was wanting a junior/senior model to just play around with in the studio with some of the new things I learned at my latest photography conference. I personally think, and of course I may be bias, but they turned out AMAZING!!! Thanks so much Meagan, and looking forward to our outside shoot coming up Spring Break!
